Hørning was founded in 1925 and has ever since been based on the dedication for excellent craftmanship. Hørning offers a market product range with 14 product groups offering endless possibilities of designing a unique solid wood floor. The age-old Danish tradition of ship building is a major feature of Hørning's countless orders for cruise ships throughout the world. When laying wooden flooring on a ship, there are extremely strict demands with regard to wear and tear, stability and safety.

Hørning is known for its extensive knowledge of the specific properties of different woods and floors. It is essential for Hørning to contribute to the sustainable buildings. Hørning is FSC, PEFC and CE-certified.

Hørning achieved the Eurofins Indoor Comfort Gold certification and is EPD certified.
