How is Yachting
related to forests?
Yachts are famous for their beautiful timber elements like decking, flooring and interiors. At the same time the industry is using some of the world’s finest hardwood timber species from tropical forests. This puts the yachting industry in a unique position to make a choice to support responsible forest projects when sourcing its materials. Your choice can mean forest destruction, but it can also mean forest development for nature and people.
What are we asking of you?
By sourcing certified forest-friendly timber and forest-based products for your yachts, you can change the way we use the world’s forests. By choosing products from sustainably managed forests, you support nature, biodiversity and social development which will create forests full of life for future generations.
